Marie-Jose is a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, living in Nairobi. She is married with three grown-up children.

Originally Dutch, she has lived in East Africa for over 35 years. She studied Child Development and Health and has a degree in Art Therapy.

Marie Jose wants to live in a world where healthy living is available for every person. Where everyone has access to basic tools to empower themselves and their families and communities to live a healthy life. Being mindful and aware of each other’s role to play in this world where we do not just survive but THRIVE!

Her interests in the physical, mental and emotional aspects of health have always been a big part of her life. Over the years she has studied nutrition, Reiki I and II, Bach- therapy, Dorn therapy, PIDDDS and BodyTalk. She had been seeking an integrated system of the different forms of healthcare and found it in The BodyTalk System.

Her passion is to share her knowledge with others. Marie Jose is regularly presenting the BodyTalk System to audiences in Kenya. She coordinates for BodyTalk instructors to come to Kenya. She is involved in organising ‘Out-reach programmes’ to vulnerable communities in Kenya (orphanages, schools, nomadic communities etc).

My name is Heidi Leitner, I am an organic farming specialist from Austria, a dedicated Business and Career Coach, and a Certified Body Talk practitioner (CBP) since November 2020. I am a passionate mom and permaculture gardener, both of which have a lot to do with growing strong roots, providing a healthy, nourishing environment and above all, LOVE.

It is my love of people and my interest in their lives and stories that has brought me to Business coaching and BodyTalk. It is about assisting someone to discover their true self and live up to their highest potential. I find this work most exciting and rewarding because it is a journey of surprises and miracles, and intense and touching encounters with my clients. Part of these stories are often about the struggles and so it is unsurprising that my own personal battles with insecurities and low self-esteem led me to choose this path. Every day my work shows me how normal this is but also how deeply it is affecting our lives and our health.

BodyTalk seeks to find the roots of physical, mental, or emotional symptoms or diseases, which are often belief systems, active memories, or imbalances with our environments that cause breakdowns of communication within the bodymind complex leading to discomfort and dis-ease. Working with the client’s innate wisdom, BodyTalk re-establishes communication and rebalances the individual. In coaching, where all the resources needed are there waiting to be addressed and finally used, it is the innate wisdom of the client that knows what it needs to heal. I am merely a facilitator of your own self-healing.
